POTTERY STATEMENT

All stoneware pottery is individually handmade. Slight variations in depth, and spacing do occur and are not considered imperfections but rather is the result of individuals performing the work rather than overseeing a mechanical process. There are also variations in glaze coloration due to the firing process. This is the appeal of handmade stoneware and what separates our pottery from the commercial look of mass produced manufactured ware.

Measurements of height, diameter, and weights listed for all items on this web site are "approximate." Bujno Pottery is hand-crafted and slight variations in measurements and weights are normal and to be expected.

SLATE STATEMENT

Slate is stone and variations in texture, smoothness, and depth do occur and are not considered imperfections but rather indicate the unique natural beauty of each piece. Only genuine slate from the U.S.A. is used. No polyresin or plastics of any kind or used.
