The Joy Of Giving & Receiving The Custom House Crock

One of our customers sent us an email with this attached photo on June 11, 2006, to
show how pleased her future daughter-in-law was with her 3-Gallon Custom House Crock.
While we receive a significant amount of complimentary emails, it was certainly a special
treat to receive this photo and see the "end result" of a special unique gift.

Why Our Custom House Crock Is Special

There may be a few other places that offer a similar product where the rendering of your house is decorated (like painting) onto the "surface" of the crock. The characters, or wording, may even be decorated on the surface. We "do not" use above surface decoration.

With our Custom House Crock, your house will be artistically "hand-etched into the clay" using a technique called "sgraffito." The decoration color of your choice is then applied into the lines. We embellish the etching with brush work & sponging to accent parts of the house and landscape. The characters you choose for your crock are "embossed into" the moist clay & are also decorated with your choice of color. Our decoration color choices are Cobalt Blue or Sage Green.
