Answer: How do you place an online order?
Placing an online order is simple - think of being in a grocery store. When you want an item, click the "Add To Cart" button and it goes into your shopping cart. To continue shopping while you are in the shopping cart, simply click your back button. When done shopping, click "View Cart" at top of each page to see what is in your cart. Then click "Check Out Now" for the online order form. Follow instructions on the order checkout form. You can also reference "How To Order"

Answer: I want more than one, how do I change quantity?
It's simple and easy. First, add the item you want so your shopping cart. While in the shopping cart, you will see links to the right to increase or decrease quantity. You will then see both the quantity and extended price changed.

Answer: Is your site secure?
Yes. Online security is a top priority for us.  We use the highest level of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. You can be assured that our #1 priority is always to protect the privacy and security of our customers!

Answer: What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa & MasterCard only. This is posted on virtually every product page for your reference. We do not accept American Express or Discover.

Answer: Can I mail my order?
Yes you can. The easiest way to do this is to print out the products you want to order. Then go to our online printable mail order form and follow the simple instructions on this form. For our print out mail order form - "Click Here"  Please note that delivery times are applicable only from the time we receive your order, not from the time you mail it. In addition, if you choose to pay by personal check, please note that this will add approximately an additional 7 days to the delivery time for your order.

Answer:  Can I call you to place my order?
Yes. Our toll free number is: 1.877.752.2428 (M-F: 9am - 5pm ET). For those customers in our local telephone area, our local number is 570.752.7001. You can also contact us after hours, leave a message with your return telephone number, and we will get "back to you" at the earliest chance we get.

Answer:  How much does shipping cost?
We make calculating shipping easy! We have "FREE" shipping on all retail orders that are $50 or more. The shipping rate for orders $49.99 and under is only $5.00. And these rates apply for all locations within the contiguous United States. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally at the present time. Answer: How soon can I expect delivery?
Bujno Pottery and our slate products are handmade to order and normal delivery is as follows:
Pottery: 3 - 4 weeks
Slate With SKU # KC: 1 - 2 weeks
Slate With SKU # SM: 3 - 4 weeks

Please note that item-specific delivery schedules are posted on every product ordering page as the delivery schedule does change periodically.  We take meeting our delivery schedule very seriously, and that is perhaps the one reason we have so many repeat customers.  Always allow for some delay when holidays fall on weekdays.

Answer: How come I didn't get a confirmation email?
All orders receive an "automatic" confirmation email upon submitting your order and the confirmation is sent to the email you listed on the order form. If you entered your email incorrectly (i.e., used a comma instead of a period, forgot the @ symbol, or it was spelled incorrectly), then you obviously will not receive an order confirmation email.  Also, please note that anti-spam software programs may block many emails that are not spam such as automatically generated order confirmations. If this is the case, simply check the spam folder in your email program.
Also note that email servers (yours, ours, those in-between) may get backlogged from time to time and your email may not always be delivered immediately but always within 24 hours.

Answer:  Does your site use cookies?
Our shopping cart system uses a cookie on a limited basis, but, like many (including big names like Amazon.com) uses cookies in order to "store items" in your shopping cart. Our cookie identifies your IP address. Most web browsers contain a help section which allows you to manage cookies. We recommend that when you shop with us, you either leave your cookies on or accept the notification of a new cookie, in order to store items in your shopping cart while shopping at The Chat Shoppe. We are very dedicated to customer privacy (see our privacy policy below).

Answer:  What is your return/refund & cancellation policy?
  • Returns & Refunds:  We are committed to customer satisfaction and offer a hassle free 30 day return/refund policy on all retail merchandise, minus return shipping charges. The only exception is "personalized products" that can not be resold.  Personalized products can be returned only in event of damage during shipment or if we made a mistake in the personalization. If we made a mistake, we will "re-make" the piece for you as quick as we can. There are no refunds on personalized products. For more detail, please reference our "Return Policy"
             
  • Order Cancellations:  Orders may only be cancelled "on the same day/date" the order was placed.  All order cancellations will be charged a processing fee of $10.00 or 15% of the order total amount, whichever is greater.

Answer: How do I check the status of my order?
First, allow for the stated expected delivery time that is listed in your order confirmation email. We are 99%+ effective in getting your order to you in the stated time. The only exception is if our mail carrier mistakenly re-routes a package.  Always allow for some delay when holidays fall on weekdays.  If your delivery time has passed, and your order is not received, give us a toll free call at: 1.877.752.2428 or email us ( custhelp@ptd.net ).
A UPS or FedEx tracking code is not assigned to your order until date of shipment.

Answer: How do I request personalization for your personalized pottery?
Only our items listed under "Personalized Pottery" can be personalized.  The product description lists the maximum number of characters allowed for each piece.  Simply add your personalized characters in the text boxes listed next to the add-to-cart button.

Answer: Where can I see the designs, decoration, and glaze options for your pottery?
On every pottery product page where you get to choose options, there is a link toward the top of the page.  This link will either say "Click To View Designs Available" or "Click To View Decoration/Glaze Options. On our larger image product pages, these links are below the product.
When you click one of these links, a pop-up box will appear on your screen. There is a menu on the left hand side that, when clicked, will bring up pictures of our decoration/glaze combinations, as well as over 40 designs listed in specific categories. This allows you to see what the options will look like before you order.
We are confident we give you more choices for your pottery!

Answer: Why does the option pop-up box disappear?
It doesn't disappear. When you click the link for design, decoration, glaze options for pottery, a pop-up box with a menu appears in the "front" of your current browser view. When you click back on the product page, the pop-up option box "falls" to the bottom of your monitor window (since it is no longer the active window). To bring it back up, simply find it on the bottom of your window view (tab will be to the the right of your browser on the window start bar). If in doubt, you can also click on the main option link and this will also bring up the pop-up option window.

Answer: Can I have my pottery delivered sooner than 3 - 4 weeks?
In many cases, you will have delivery before 3 - 4 weeks. However, we can only ensure delivery to you (anywhere in the continental United States) within 3 - 4 weeks. We can not guarantee time frames any earlier. Since all items are handmade, it is possible that we may have to do a re-make if something happens during the high firing kiln process. We allow for this rare occurrence in our 3 - 4 week delivery schedule. However; if you are concerned about a "borderline" time frame in which you may need your piece, just give us a call and we can tell you whether we can do it. Our customers appreciate our 3 - 4 week delivery, as most of our competitors are 4 - 6 weeks.

Answer: Why is all pottery handmade to order?
In addition to the fact that Bujno Pottery is simply beautiful and functional, our popularity also is a result that we give more (if not the most) choices in options for customers. Bujno Pottery offers more than 50 designs and 6 decoration/glaze options for most pottery. To have just "1" piece in stock, per option, would require more than 300 items of the same piece. We have well over a hundred pieces - so we would need 30,000 items to have just one piece of each, per possible option combination. That would mean giant warehouse, greater expense, and higher prices. We don't want that for our customers - or us!

Answer: Do you use natural U.S. slate?
Yes. All of our slate products are made of natural U.S. slate.  No imitations.  Our painted slate products may also have a great recycled origin from old roofing tiles from historic Maine churches and homes.

Answer: How this is the slate?
Our etched slate is approximately one-quarter inch think.
Our painted slate is approximately one-quarter to one-half inch thick.

Answer: How long does it take to ship my slate order?
Painted slate products, Items # KC, can expect delivery in approximately 1 to 2 weeks.
Etched slate products, Items # SM,  these items currently ship in 3 - 4 weeks.

Yes you can. We prefer that you use our "mail order form" that we have available online. You can follow the instructions on the form and mail to the address provided. Please note that delivery times are applicable only from the time we receive your order, not from the time you mail it.
