We Really Love Our Sam
Why You Should Consider Rescuing A Dog From A Shelter

Time for a short Sam story.  We had a number of dogs over the years, but there was a day in the Fall of 2000 when our home had no dog.  Not a good situation in our family.  So we decided to go to the county shelter to rescue one.  We found Sam, a female Lab mix.

Sam is definitely the greatest dog we ever had.  While she won't win any beauty contests, I never quite knew a dog that simply loved everyone.  Sam wins over the hearts of every single person who visits.  She loves children the most and is the most gentle dog you could ever meet.  She is quite old these days and we only have a rough guess of how old she really is.  But every day Sam is with us is a blessing because she is one of the best things that ever happened to our family.

If you're looking for a dog, please don't forget about all the dogs you can rescue from a shelter.  You may just find a dog as great as Sam.
