Dawgs Welcome Back Assistant Coach
Marks
Berwick Wrestling warmly
welcomes back Jerry Marks as assistant coach.
Coach Marks was a fixture at
Berwick Wrestling for many years when he previously served as assistant
under Head Coach Ernie Yates. After a 3-year absence, the call-to-arms
to the sweat of the practice room and the excitement of competition brought
Coach Marks back to the one place he belongs -
"Home."
Coach Marks was instrumental in
assisting Head Coach Ernie Yates turn Berwick Wrestling into a powerhouse.
The last time Coach Marks helped guide the Dawgs witnessed Berwick Wrestling
notch a 17-2 season record and capture team titles at both the 2003 PIAA AAA
District 2 Team Dual Championship Tournament and the 2003 PIAA AAA District
2 Championship Tournament.
Marks brings back not only
proven coaching experience but also an impressive resume that includes being
a 2-time PIAA AA State Wrestling Champion and an All-State football player
during his high school days at Southern Columbia.
The sweat of the wrestling room
awaits.
