WALSH & KARNS NAMED 1ST TEAM PRESS-ENTERPRISE ALL-STARS

Josh Walsh, Senior, 145lbs, 1st Team Press-Enterprise
This past season, Josh won his second consecutive District Championship and
placed 4th at the NE AAA Regional Championship tournament. During
Josh's three year career as a Berwick Wrestler, he was a two-time
consecutive District Champion in District 2 Class AAA, a two-time
consecutive placer at the NE AAA Regional Championship tournament, and a
three time consecutive District placer. Josh was previously selected
to the first team of the 2006 Times Leader Wyoming Valley Conference
Wrestling All-Star Team and the first team of the 2006 Reading Eagle
All-Anthracite Wrestling All-Star Team.
Aaron Karns, Sophomore, 171lbs, 1st Team Press-Enterprise
Aaron, the most improved Dawg from a season ago, was on fire this past
season and captured Runner-Up honors in the District 2 Class AAA
Championship tournament. Aaron then went on to snatch impressive 4th
Place honors at the prestigious NE AAA Regional Championship tournament.
This past season witnessed Aaron notching several huge wins over top caliber
opponents, and with two more seasons wearing a Dawg singlet, the Dawg
Faithful can anticipate huge future honors for Aaron.

Press-Enterprise Wrestling All-Star selection published on April 7, 2006,
