Becomes 11th Dawg In History Of Berwick Wrestling
To Join 100-Win Club

Lou Ney, in the Dawg dual versus
Wyoming Area High School on December 19, 2007, notched Career Win
#100 via a fall against Mitchell Roote.
Ney, Berwick Wrestling's stellar
135-pounder, becomes just the 11th wrestler in the history of
Berwick Wrestling to record 100 wins. Ney is on pace and is in
a heated battle to eclipse the all-time career win record of Berwick
Wrestling.
Ney is a brilliantly talented
multi-sport athlete and has been a big gun for the Dawgs ever since
moving up to varsity as a freshman. A returning District
Champion of the 2007 PIAA District 2 AA Championship Tournament, Ney
has his sights dead-on for a place on the podium at this year's
state championship wrestling tournament. Ney was an immediate
stand-out as a freshman when he slated 31 wins. He fought
through injury as a sophomore but still earned over 20 wins.
Last season, Ney exploded for 36 wins and impressively won his
District Championship title wrestling up two weight classes from his
regular season weight.
