After the Dawgs opened up the season with a 62-12 crushing of GAR on December 4, Berwick quickly traveled to Millersville, PA, on December 7 & 8, to compete at the 23-team Penn Manor Tournament.  Even though Berwick did not enter a wrestler in two of the weight classes, the Dawgs put on a magnificent and tremendous effort by capturing the tournament team title, crowning 3 champions in the process, and placing a total of 7 wrestlers.

The core group of talented senior Dawgs paved the road and the team followed in a high speed chase.  Senior returning District Champion Lou Ney, senior returning State Place Winner Nick Venditti, and senior returning State Runner-Up Aaron Karns, were all in stellar form en-route to each capturing tournament championship titles in their respective weight classes.  Sophomore Chris Bujno and junior Dom Yantorn earned runner-up honors, senior Josh Winkelmann notched 4th place honors, and junior Ryan Sitler grabbed 5th place honors.  In addition, freshman Roy Dennis earned runner-up honors in junior varsity competition.
