Becomes 12th Dawg In History Of Berwick Wrestling
To Join 100-Win Club

Aaron Karns, in the Dawg dual
versus Lake Braddock, Virginia, held at the Brute Battlefield Duals
in Alexandria, Virginia, on January 5, 2008, notched Career Win #100
via a fall in 1:05 versus Michael Harrison.
Karns, Berwick Wrestling's
stellar 189-pounder, becomes just the 12th wrestler in the history
of Berwick Wrestling to record 100 wins. Aaron is the third
Dawg to eclipse the century mark in career wins in the last several
weeks.
Last season, by taking State
Runner-Up honors at the 2007 PIAA AA State Championship Tournament,
Karns became the first State Finalist for Berwick since 1985 - a
span of 22 years. Prior to his fantastic performance at the
state championship tournament last season, Aaron opened up the
postseason with a District Championship Title at the 2007 PIAA D2 AA
Championship Tournament. Karns then went on to be crowned
Regional Champion at the 2007 PIAA NE AA Regional Championship
Tournament. Karns will be a top contender this season for a
state championship title.
