We are proud to offer our pottery straight from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. You will find that we have a very large selection of handmade pottery. In addition to our huge selection, you will find that we offer more choices in designs and decoration/glaze combinations with over 300 options for most pieces.

Our processes make our pottery suitable for use in the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher. All of our pottery is food safe & lead free. We are confident you will find our pottery will be treasured and last for generations.

Every piece of pottery is high-fired, entirely handmade from start to finish, and crafted with the highest standard of materials and workmanship. All custom pieces require at least 11 separate steps and have no less then 4 different artists contributing to the final ware. All wording, logos, etc., are embossed individually by hand. This must be done while the clay is moist. So when you place an order, know that we start out by weighing a lump of clay. We then form the clay and emboss the wording or design of your choice into the piece. Slight variations in depth, and spacing do occur and are not considered imperfections but rather the result of individuals performing the work rather than overseeing a mechanical process. There are also variations in glaze due to the firing process. This is the appeal of handcrafted stoneware pottery and is what separates our pottery from the commercial look of mass produced manufactured ware.

After our pottery piece dries for about a week, we brush the decoration color into the design. At this point, we can also embellish the design with brush work or sponging. This adds an extra handmade feel to the piece. Now the piece is ready for glazing. After we apply the glaze color onto the dry pottery, it is loaded into a kiln and fired to 2300° Fahrenheit. It takes about 14 hours to reach that temperature and another 30 hours to get it cool again. That's it!

We offer 3 traditional glaze and 2 decoration colors for our pottery. You may choose either stone gray, antique white, or honey wheat for the pottery glaze color. The 2 different decoration colors we offer are cobalt blue and sage green. You may choose any combination of glaze and decoration color. They all work well together. You can specifically pick your pottery glaze and decoration combinations, as well as one of our designs, on each pottery product page. The vast majority of our pottery allows you to have more choices than just about anywhere else. There are only a few restrictions and these are evident where there is no selection box for decoration/glaze or designs. We believe you will be amazed at the choices that we make available for your pottery.
